Realizing that our demographics have changed considerably, our land search has broadened beyond Morris County to include properties throughout the State of New Jersey, while staying mindful of a centralized location that will be affordable, and offer proximity to medical facilities, shopping and public transportation.“

Two apartments in Highland Park reserved for Deaf families (not for singles or couples). These are renovated 2 bedroom apartments in a 4 unit apartment house, There are already 2 Deaf families living there. THESE ARE AVAILABLE NOW

For the Dunellen location there is no true minimum income but having some form of income is critical for them to live comfortably. THESE ARE AVAILABLE NOW.

We have several vacancies NOW in shared housing (2-3 people in separate bedrooms sharing living room, kitchen and bathrooms).
Here is a list of the locations, the gender and monthly rent for each available unit.
For the *Monmouth Junction and **Edison locations prospective tenants need a minimum income of $3,060 (units at $918 for rent) and $3,800 (units at $1,138 for rent).
New Jersey Deaf Housing, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is actively seeking dedicated volunteer Board Members to help us fulfill our mission of securing housing for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deafblind, and Late-Deafened communities.
**Any Available Positions**
We need individuals who can commit their time and talents to support our mission. Experience in housing, government, or development is beneficial. Skills in marketing (especially Facebook and website management) and administrative support are a plus. Strong communication and writing skills are essential for effective interaction with government agencies and organizations.
